We bridge the gap in data collection, field-based monitoring and evaluation and institutional learning, providing insights to donors and partners for impactful developmental interventions. We work across the following sectors: Health, Community Resilience, Education, Livelihood Support, Food Security, Shelter, and Gender Protection.

We collect empirical data from various sources using effective methods. By gathering insightful data, we lay the foundation for informed decision-making.

Monitoring and Evaluation

Snazzy Hope Foundation undertakes rigorous field-based monitoring and evaluation to track, observe and report changes in dynamics, trends and patterns.

Our History

Snazzy Hope Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the human condition through evidence-based research, field-based monitoring and evaluation and learning. We seek to support our partners and other developmental institutions by providing empirical data from both easy and hard-to-reach communities across Nigeria. Through our work, we bridge the gap in data collection, monitoring and evaluation and institutional learning. Snazzy Hope Foundation works in sectors include: Health, Community Resilience, Education, Livelihood Support, Food Security, Shelter and Gender Protection.

Mission Statement

To provide life-saving assistance and promote the dignity, well-being and resilience for persons and communities affected by humanitarian crises, through evidence-based research, innovative programming and collaborative partnership in shelter; WASH, health, nutrition, education, protection and livelihoods

Some of Our Experiences

SHF in collaborations with its partners has executed the following projects/initiatives:

2023-2025: Snazzy Hope Foundation partnered with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and Navanti Group LLC, USA on a project titled “Monitoring and Evaluation- Stabilization Platform for Federal Foreign Office (SPF). The project was implemented in north west, Nigeria

May-July 2024: Snazzy Hope Foundation partnered with Mercy Corp for data collection on the Rapid Assessment of Business Enterprises Models in Adamawa and Taraba States, Nigeria.

2020-2024: Snazzy Hope Foundation partnered with Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWNET) on Monitoring and forecasting acute food insecurity, in Northeast, Nigeria project.

2021-2023: Snazzy Hope Foundation partnered with Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA) and Navanti Group LLC, USA on a study titled “Using Narrative Data Collection to Inform Artificial Intelligence-driven Cognitive Model to Predict and Improve Maternal and Child Health Behaviors and Outcomes in northern Nigeria.

• 2020: Snazzy Hope Foundation partnered with International Rescue Committee in the Construction and drilling of a high yield motorized borehole at twenty housing estate, IDP camp, Gwoza, Borno state Nigeria.

• 2021-2022: Snazzy Hope Foundation partnered with Creative Associates, USAID and Navanti Group LLC on the Building Community Resilience to Violent Extremism and Conflict project in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States.
