Snazzy Hope Foundation(SHF) seeks to advance humanity through research, humanitarian assistance, gender / youth/ women support, sustainable development and learning.
Who We Are and What We Do!
Snazzy Hope Foundation is an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the human condition through evidence-based research, humanitarian assistance and developmental aid. We seek to strengthen humanitarian and development institutions to provide sustainable solutions in communities by research and project management solutions and building staff capacity for implementation. Through our work, we bridge the gap in institutional learning, data collection and monitoring and evaluation strategies as employed by other non-profit organizations, government agencies and corporate organizations. Snazzy Hope Foundation has been in operation since 2015. SHF commenced Operation in Maiduguri, Borno State and has expanded its operational base to other States in the northeast, northwest and several other States in Nigeria. SHF intervention areas include: research and humanitarian interventions focusing on sectors such as Education, WASH, CCCM, Livelihood Support, Food Security, Shelter, Health, and Gender Protection.
We believe that as long as poverty, injustice & inequality persist, no one is truly safe!

Our Reach

Our AIMS AND OBJECTIVES


Our Core aims and objectives include:

1. To support collection and analysis of data for solving societal problems

2. To support persons and communities affected by conflict to acquire life-sustaining skills and develop community resilience


3. To support actions and interventions that bridge gender inequality and support marginalized persons and groups.

4. To train and enlighten communities on the basics of countering violent extremism and terrorism through the 3Es – Education, Entrepreneurship and E-Learning

Our Experiences

SHF in collaborations with its partners has executed the following projects/initiatives:
  • Partnered with FEWNET on Monitoring and forecasting acute food insecurity, in Northeast, Nigeria. The project which was conducted in 14 LGAs (Ngala LGA, Dikwa LGA, Nganzai LGA, Mongonu LGA, Kukawa LGA, Baga LGA, Gwoza LGA, Maiduguri LGA, Mafa LGA, Damboa LGA, Biu LGA, Cross Kawa town, Bama LGA, Konduga LGA) focused on food security and coping mechanisms adopted by communities affected by conflict in the northeast region of Nigeria
  • Partnered with Navanti Group LLC, USA on a study titled “Using Narrative Data Collection to Inform Artificial Intelligence-driven Cognitive Model to Predict and Improve Maternal and Child Health Behaviors and Outcomes in Kumo LGA, Billiri LGA and Kalmai LGA in Gombe state”. The project was funded by Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA).

  • Partnered with International Rescue Committee in the Construction and drilling of a high yield motorized borehole at twenty housing estate, IDP camp, Gwoza, Borno state Nigeria 

  • Drilling of Sedimentary Borehole Lot1 in Kogi State under the Sustainable Development Goals SDG Unit. Ref-Kgs/CGS/SDGs-2014/Ofu/13 

  • Partnered with Navanti Group LLC, USA on a study titled “Building Community Resilience to Violent Extremism and Conflict in 15 LGAs (Shani LGA, Jere LGA, Biu LGA, Kwaya Kusar LGA, Maiduguri LGA, Demsa LGA, Larmude LGA, Numan LGA, Guyuk LGA, Mubi North LGA, Mubi south LGA, Fune LGA, Potiskum LGA, Damaturu LGA) in Northeast Nigeria” Project was funded by Creative Associates and USAID.

  • SHF is currently partnering with GIZ and Navanti Group LLC, USA on  a project titled “Monitoring and Evaluation- Stabilization Platform for Federal Foreign Office (SPF). The project is ongoing in  Damboa LGA, Damasak LGA, Mongonu LGA, Buni Yadi LGA, Buni Gari LGA, Madagali LGA, Gwoza LGA, Banki LGA, Gulak LGA, Ngala LGA, Ngarannam LGA, Dikwa LGA, Gediam LGA, Uba LGA and Rann LGA, northeast, Nigeria.
